My Games Minimize

Hi,

I have a problem with my games, every 10 minutes or so they minmize, and because they are all stream loading, they freeze when they maximize again. These games are : the elder scrolls oblivion, zoo tycoon 2 and dawn of war. I dont have anything running in the background, and i disabled my screen saver so it can't be that. I know i dont have any viruses as i had a full system scan a few days ago. Please help.

I checked all my specs, and im have the recommended amount. Oblivion is the worst case so here are its minimum specs:

>windows xp

>512mb RAM

>2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent

>128mb Direct3d compatible video card and Directx 9.0 compatible driver.

 

I checked and my computer has all of these. Also my game is opening fine and playing well, it just randomly minmizes in game. Hope that was a help :/ i doubt it though.

I have found out why my game keeps minimizing. A little window keeps popping up and closing again very quickly, and it doesnt do anything except minimize my game. I need to know why my game doesnt just stay on top of this window and ignore, and how to fix it.

go to start run then type in msconfig.

in the startup tab list all that is in there,and post it back.

have you updated your graphics card drivers.
