Guest Dave Durand Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 RE: Need help with Spooler service crashes Looks like a driver problem to me. How many printers on the server? It looks like you are running 64-bit so you really want to make sure you have a compatible driver for the printer and that you obtain the download that includes all necessary driver files for the printer in question. Guest RMGilmore Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 RE: Need help with Spooler service crashes I fixed the problem by removing HP drivers for three printer types and changed them to use the Universial PCL 6 driver for the server and client. ON the Windows Server 2003 R2 X64 removed the following HP LaserJet P3005 PCL6 64-Bit Driver HP LaserJet 2300 PCL6 64-Bit Driver HP LaserJet 2430 PCL6 64-Bit Driver and relaced them all with HP Universal Print Driver for Windows x64 - PCL6 ON the client side, I removed and reinstalled printers with HP Universal Print Driver for Windows - PCL6 The Dr Watson dump shows "Fault" hpzpp4wm Regards RMG "RMGilmore" wrote: > Daved, > System has 9 printers...7 of them are HP 2100 -2300 models...1 color > samsung...1 Richo printer/copier. > > I am going to remove all the printer drivers this weekend and reinstall.
