Re: W32Time error

Hello Aminoo,

What kind of server is it? Domain controller or member server? If DC, you

have to check if it is the PDCEmulator where you configure the, i assume,

external time source.

Re: W32Time error

Use the net time command to synchronize time against a time source.

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/net_time.mspx?mfr=true

There are many internet time sources available. See

http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/

Re: W32Time error

Hello Aminoo,

If you have more then one DC check out the PDCEmulator, because the external

time source must be configured on that machine.

Check the FSMO roles to find out the machine:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324801

Here is the setup for the PDCEmulator:

http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/ce8890cf-ef46-4931-8e4a-2fc5b4ddb0471033.mspx?mfr=true

If you have only one DC it will automatically hold all FSMO roles.
