Laptop Emachines M5116

Hi guys my Sister has just give me her laptop to fix and I've reinstalled xp with vald key and but I cant find the drivers and I've checked there support website and theres not any drivers there so could someone give me the links for M5116 please if not I'll have to tell her to pay pc world to fix it and I dont think she'll like that grr family :confused:

Mcafee SiteAdvisor doesn't have any info on that site. However IE allows me to download the drivers just fine. Try using IE. If it's still blocked then it's your AV or firewall that's blocking you.

I'm a bit slow but could you guys send me the driver files or something somehow ,maybe via MSN I'm not sure how to use rapid share and dont I need a user account to use that :S sorry :o

Sean you need to try to obtain the drivers via the links posted. If you have not tried what I said in post 11 please do so now. Another option is to use a different computer that can access the site and burn them to a CD.

Right Ive downloaded the files and they are .INF,.Cat, .SYS files I'm not sure what to do next cus I normally use .EXE files

Alll of the download except the LAN have .exe setup files - I've just checked them.

 

Extract the LAN files, then go to Device Manager, select the unknown Network Controller, and right click - update driver, tell it 'not to connect to the internet', then select driver location - point it to the extracted LAN files and it should install and update.
