Hello,

Even though a periodic "Full Scan" is essential, since it takes a significant amount of time, many a times a scheduled scan is aborted midway, leaving the system a bit vulnerable...

1. To optimize the scan time, I suggest that the before starting a scan, the application indicate the size of standard temporary files and give an option to delete the same. I believe it will help to integrate this check into the application.

2. Is it an incremental scanner? I mean, if a set of scanned files/ folders is not modified later on, does it skip them in the next run or maybe check them only for the updated items in the database?

Best Regards,

Suresh Upadhya.
