How do I get a lot of failed updates after reinstalling XP?

I have windows xp he version 2002 sp3 and have a lot of *Failed Updates* from reinstalling my os

Original title: Hi there I'm Liz and need to ask how does one reinstall A lot of failed updates & possible from windows xp sp1-sp2?
