I received an external hard drive gift recently – it is FAT32 formatted. My laptop c drive is NTFS formatted – OS win7. I understand that win 7 also supports FAT32 format. So do I need to reformat the external hard drive before I can use it on my

latop? That is, can my laptop deal speak with a FAT32 ext hard drive if it is NTFS formatted?
