my mail is not being sent I get proxy error sending message I need to change something

My information when setting up windows live mail is wrong ,I apparently did not know the correct answers because I can't send out mail. I get and error , proxy,pop 3 etc. and it shows an old email I had so something is not right. I need to know how to get back in and do it right I have like 12 e-mails I've tried and gave up but there sitting to be sent and then it won't go through. Help I'm not the greatest on this stuff
