Just this morning I noticed that I was having trouble viewing streaming video from a very reliable site (in this case CNN news.) I was getting full sound but only a solid green screen.

I know that I can view the video by turning down the video acceleration in my Window Media Player but I do not find that a very accpetable solution. Using that method will not, for example, allow for full screen viewing.

Since I used these sites throughout the US political campaign I am aware that I have been able to view them in the past and I have not changed any settings. This has happened to me before but not since I formatted my hard drive recently.

Any suggestions members???

More to my post.

I have gone through the same sites in Firefox with Windows Media Player set to full video acceleration and had no trouble with full featured viewing of these sites. This will give comfort to those who favour Firefix over IE7 but it also indicates that it is a browser related problem.

Besides switching to Firefox as the default browser (as I am about to do) members who are uncomfortable with that switch should be able to resolve this problem.

I have not Goku. It does work fine in firefox but I will try and let you know because I am aware that there is another member interested in this problem.

Thanks
