Guest JT Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I know about changing the date format in the Regional Settings control panel option. What I am wondering though is whether or not there is a utility that will allow the change of the date format to be changed to something like September/7/2007 as opposed to 09/7/2007 when being displayed in windows explorer and using details. I would like to be able to use the full or short prefix of the month instead of its number. Has anyone been able to accomplish something like this? I understand of course its not supported but I would like to be able to utilize something like this for some of our file servers.

Just play with the various strings in Regional settings, e.g. dddd, d MMMM yyyy You can put your MMMM anywhere you like!
Guest JT Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Re: Change Date Format Thanks. Did not realize this was possible, I tried it and it gave me the results I was after.
