how do I reinstall the HP DVD RW AD-7701H Driver without a CD?

My cd drive stopped working and I received some instructions to uninstall and then reinstall it. Needless to say, I assumed that the automatic driver search feature would find the driver. So I uninstalled the driver and the system could not find the software

to reinstall the driver. I have gone to the Microsoft site to find the driver, but it is not available there. Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue so that I can use the CD to my laptop. Microsoft Windows 7. Thanks.
