Why do I need this? Why is it "Important"? Is it the same update that I've had listed as "optional" for the last few months? Why is it not being issued by nVidia? Quite honestly, after an horrendous experience updating this card's driver from the nVidia

website a year ago I am not inclined to make any changes. Am I missing out on something, - aside from severe stress and probable loss of display??? EDIT: I've been googling! http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/1250-73-windows-update-failing-install-wddm-wddm

Must admit, the information confuses the **** outa me! It seems to be saying these are changes relevant to W7 and W8! So why are we lowly, punch drunk, short changed, disenfranchised Vista Ultimate mugs being offered it? :D
