From Andrew Skeggs

I attempted to download Windows Media Player for XP from the Microsoft Windows website. I run a genuine copy of Windows XP but I get a verification error,. WGA also says my Windows version is genuine.

Windows FAQ advise re-entering the product key. I would like to try to re-enter the product key, but

there appears to be no provision in my system verification window to do this.

My system runs Windows XP with SP3 Installed, on an Intel i5400 processor with 3gb SDRAM and a 70% full 320gb hard drive.

I can be contacted by telephone at this time on: if it would be helpful.
