windows 8 crash re-boot over and over again, unable to use system

Running Windows 8 for a few days, no issues.

" it " wanted to install an update, now right after boot it crashes and says windows must re-start.

Unable to do anything as the system just keeps re-booting now. ???

 

What did this "update" install

unable to re-set / refresh / install

 

Message that it repeated non-stop-

"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart, We're just collecting some error into, and then we'll restart for you. (xx% complete)"

this goes on over and over again, unable to restore/recover
