On a small sidenote, why does this one always comes up by the Windows 8 fans, as if it's some sort of unique revelation:

I don't understand the big deal about the start menu. Press the windows key [on W8]( that little key next to the key) and type in the name of a program you want to run. BOOM!!!! there it is, now click on it. Seems pretty damn easy. What am I missing?

In all Windows 8 discussions so far, I've read this all the time, and only in defense of W8. Hey, guys, are you aware that this works exactly like that on Win 7 and Vista, too? Even better, you still have your open programs in focus while you're typing and no full-screen fudge is distracting you out of your context! Wow!
