keyboard layout creator version 1.4.6000.2 description corrupted

In the Project/Properties I set the Description. When it installs, in the list of installed apps, the description is as I have set it. But when I bring up the list of keyboards after installing the keyboard, it uses an old name.

I created the keyboard using 'save source file as'.

I tried this several times. I tried installing it fresh on another computer, but the corruption appears to be in the .klc file

 

Anyone know how to 'uncorrupt' this file so it uses the descirption as the description?
