Issue with booting to Windows XP Professional after trying to upgrade to Windows 8.

Original Title: professional

During an attemp to upgrade my window xp with window 8 my system crashed and during the rebooting I used my window XP disk. Now when I start up the system it stall asking for a selection of office or professional. Automatically goes into the office version

but I dont have files there. All of my files are in the Window XP professional operating system. How can I remove the second operating system that was placed by mistake?
