I am trying to repair Windows XP and the last few steps comes up with the following errors:

 

 

Windows cannot copy this file and asks to retry or cancel. I have tried to install without repairing these files but want to know the consequence as I am planning to upgrade the machine to Windows 8.

SUNSET.ip_

WATERFIL.ip_

WINTER.ip_

BEETOV9.VM_

NEWSTRY,VM_
