It appears that I am running both of the above on Win. XP SP3. In Widows task Manager under Processes Defender seems to be MsMpEng.exe and has 32994k memory usage and msseces.exe is Microsoft Security Essentials. Defender is not shown in the Add and Remove

programs. According to the Community I do not need Defender. How do I disable it?
