not able to install office 2010 - Software Protection Platform is not installed

Hi,

We are not able to install Office 2010 and received "Software Protection Platform" is not installed error.

I do not find "OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform" folder under "C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft Shared". Also Registry path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftOfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform" is not found.

"osppsvc" is not found in services

Please help in resolving the issue
