Windows Vista Recovery Failed, Can i install Windows 8 on the Not Bootable Windows Vista.

I bought a PC from a friend, running Windows Vista Home Premium.

Was trying to run system recovery but stopped by error 0xd0000017.

Then i created boot USB killdisk to Wipe and Clean my hard disk, but i think i accidentally wipe out the wrong volume.

The PC could not restart stating file is missing please insert Windows Installation disc.

I downloaded and burned Windows Vista Recovery ISO but failed to run the "Repair Computer", Failed to re-install.

I'm guessing the only solution is to buy an upgrade of Windows 8 and clean install it.

But what bothers me is:

I don't know whether i have a partition ready when Windows 8 prompt "where do you want to install windows 8". Please Help. Thanks Alot.
