Whenever I boot my computer two error windows appear. The first says:

C:WINDOWSsystem32mustafx2.exe

The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.

Choose 'close' to terminate the application.

The second is identical, except that mustafx2.exe is replaced by mustafx.exe.

If I click on 'close' for each, I can continue normally.

A search on these two files reports that each is a virus. Yet Microsoft Safety Scanner and Microsoft Security Essentials don't pick them up.

How can I get rid of them?

I'm running Windows XP, SP3.

Thanks for any help.
