DVD Maker video blanks

I am making a DVD using Windows DVD maker. After completion the DVD when played on a DVD player has blank video spots in it that are completely black, however the audio is still there. When I previewed the video in window movie maker prior to making

the DVD maker it did not have any blank video spots in it.
