Computer won't "wake up"

Past 48 hours, when not using the computer for 10 minutes or so, screen goes into energy saving dark, but won't come back on anymore with a move of the mouse or touching any key, and must literally turn off and restart, going directly to "restoring windows"

and back to normal Did I get a Virus?
