Hi all,

Has there been any progress on getting Explorer in Windows 7, 64-bit to act like the good old XP days of

"single click subfolders to expand them so they open and stay put in the left pane?"

I know there has been a lot of complaints about how Windows 7 displays and handles folders and subfolders in Explorer, and at last count, MS is ignoring the issue. I've tried all available folder options, but they don't do a darn thing in 64-bit.

Lots of folks are solving the issue with Classic Shell, but I really resist third party software. It sometimes wreaks havoc on the system. Thanks.
