Running Win 7 32 Bit. Video card is NVidia GeForce 8300GS. NVidia driver was vers. 306.97. Everything was working fine. NVidia recently notified me of an update to vers. 310.70. Installed this update and the system began to freeze and drop to the

evil blue screen. Reinstalled old 306.97 and everything was fine again. MS subsequently sent automatic update instructions to update to 310.70. Tried this update and the system would not accept the update. Error Code 80070103. I tried a 'Clean' update

to 310.70 re-downloading that version fresh from NVidia but that resulted in the lock up problem again. Now I'm back to 306.97. Any ideas?
