I have Windows XP, and I haven't used it for quite a while. Today I tried to boot it up but I got stuck in the blue 'Microsoft Windows XP' screen. I have tried to boot it up in safe mode, no difference, still got the blue screen. I have tried to put a

Windows 7 Disk so I can install Windows 7 on it, it didn't know how to get the menu up for the Windows Disk so I can start.

 

 

Please help me with the Windows not starting up problem AND How to install Windows 7 on my XP.
