Virus leftovers?

My computer recently contracted a virus (I forget the name, but I found a description on the Web). I removed it using the MS Emergency Response Tool which removed two files. I then ran MS Defender at full scan. Everything was clear. However, I now get a

pop-up on the lower right of my window which says "Detected threats are being cleaned - No action needed." I think this may be a remnant of the virus or the Emergency Response Tool. I don't think it's actually doing anything. How do I get rid of it?

 

I have a screen print if anyone wants to see it.
