Security Essentials System Tray Icon

I'm not sure why, but about a week ago the sys tray icon just stopped appearing. I checked the Select which icons and notifications appear on the taskbar and the only thing that might apply is the Microsoft Security Client User Interface, which is set to

show icon and notifications. No specific option for Security Essentials. I just like to see the green shield at all times so I know I have real time protection.
