How do I uninstall the older version of Java 6 and it's updates when it doesn't uninstall to the remove command? I get the following message: We have detected the following old versions of Java that are installed on your system:

  • Java SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1
  • Java 6 Update 2
  • Java 6 Update 5
  • Java 6 Update 7

These older versions refuse to uninstall and I get the message: "error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid". What do I do. Java will not respond to help. Thanks,
