Windows 8 - AMD A8-Series processor (Always freezes)

Hello Folks,

A week back i purchased HP win 8 AMD A8-Series processor laptop and totally unhappy with the freezes I'm seeing.  No matter what browser (IE, Firefox & chrome) or app i use almost every 1 or 2 mins. later i see a freeze and have to END TASK and

sometimes restart the laptop.  I'm planning to return the laptop and switch to mac.

Pl suggest me any specific reason or need any updates.  As far as i know i did all the Microsoft and HP updates to the date.
