Microsoft security update KB2538243 installs but isnt visible in installed updates

I need to install Microsoft security update KB2538243. I download the installer, and run it successfully. Although it doesn't show up in the list of installed updates. I will be working from home, and having my computer fully updated is a requirement. The company

provides this, "Belarc Advisor" software that checks your computer, and after installing, re-installing and "repairing", and multiple re-starts of my computer, the security update still does not show up in the list of installed updates, and the advisor still

says I am missing 1 update. I've also tried checking for updates through windows update, it says my computer is up to date.

Im running Windows 7HP, 64 bit. I've tried looking up this issue, but can't seem to find anyone with the same issue as me, I'm not getting any error codes, again, it just says it installs via the installer, but isn't there.
