windows upadte history doesnot show old upadtes in the list

My problem started when I have noticed that updates are not running automatically or manually shows error. I searched on Microsoft websites & applied kb947821. after applying hotfix kb947821 my old list of update is not seen. after installing this patch

my windows update started functioning ok but shows only latest updates. i am using win7HB. kindly tell me what should i do for old updates to be visible in update history.
