hi

catalyst control center: host application has stopped working error appears when i try to open catalyst control center or the switchable graphics program.   this has happend twice and was resolved with a fresh install of windows.

i am fairly sure it is caused by a windows update because problem started after installing updates.

i have contacted dell and reinstalled the drivers a few times with no fix.

my laptop now seems to auto control graphics by itself and can still play some games. graphcs card does still work, just seems to be a software issue . pretty sure the problem is from a windows update

 

windows 8 pro genuine

dell inspirion 15r se

amd radeon hd 7730m and intel hd graphics 4000
