If I purchase the Windows 8 Pro upgrade for $70, am able to wipe out my current Windows 7 and install it clean instead of upgrade from Windows 7 to 8? I've heard/read somewhere that the Windows 8 Po "upgrade" only works for upgrade and you can't

use for a clean install even though you already own Windows 7. If anyone knows the facts, please confirm. My Windows 7 has a lot of junk in it. I do not want to carry those over to Windows 8 with only an "upgrade" and not clean install.

Thank you.
