Do you know what this is? Root cause found: unknown bugcheck: Bugcheck a. Parameters = 0xc04ac000, 0x0, 0x0, 0x828cf7ad.

Help!! My laptop is running repeatedly through the System Repair cycle. At one point yesterday it succeeded and I had my desktop up, the hard drive was running fine while wireless access was disabled with the manual switch. But after I turned wireless on

and updated the Norton antivirus software, it started back in on this continual cycle of System Repair again.

I can't find this particular bugcheck code using Google.

(3) Gerry: I found and am trying this, with fingers crossed: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139576-startup-repair-infinite-loop-recovery.html?filter[2]=Performance Maintenance

(4) Well, that process accessed the Registry Backup and used it to "repair" the registry. Immediately the Windows screen came up and all appeared back to normal. But then ... Startup Repair kicked back in. Maddening. At this point I believe that all is lost,

time to replace the machine.
