Recently after receiving a whole bunch of windows, office and other upgrades the Networking and sharing center stopped working. All I get at the bottom of the desk top screen is the wifi symbol with a red x on it. When I open the center it says I have

no connections. However the computer is connected and I am on line with the web and email. So there is some sort of disconnect that has occureed. How do I go about reestablishing this function?
