MAC user needing MS operating system

I have a MacBook Pro.  My graduate level course work requires use of Black Board Vista 8.0.  My MAC OS is "too new" to use and is "unsupported" and getting a Snow Leopard OS, which is supported,  is impossible.  Apple suggested I purchase Microsoft Windows

7 (32-bit) as this is the fully tested and supported OS for Blackboard Vista at my University.  I am bewildered and am considering buying a new PC with a windows 7 32-bit OS.  Easier said than done...seems like all the eligible PC's for sale have 64 bit.  Any

ideas?
