Upgrade from windows 7 32bit to windows 8 64bit

Hello to everyone,

 

I'm trying to upgrade a pc with windows 7 32-bit, and I want to switch to windwos 8 64-bit. 

Digging on internet I found that it's possibile trough custom installation (at least from xp to win7) but I'm trying to understand if it's possibile also for win8.

 

Some months ago I've upgraded a PC to win8 and I obtained a license for 29,99$, but I didn't found how many computer I can activate with that key...if I can't use that serial, can I use the win8 upgrade assistant to migrate from win7 32-bit to win8 64-bi?

with other 29,99$?
