I have a 3 year old Toshiba laptop where the HDD died. 

I have reinstalled Windows 7 using a family members installation disk as my laptop was pre-loaded and without the disk. 

My serial number no longer works and I do not wish to repurchase. 

I also do not wish to reformat as I have a number of files that I have put on it since the install - Is this possible?

How can I register my software again? The windows version is Home Prem OA (X15-53758)
