Problem with updating Security Essentials.

As many have already mentioned I turned my computer on today (1/21/13) and have noticed that Security Essentials is not updating. It shows last update was on 1/19/2013. It searches for a second and stops. When will this problem be fixed-I feel like a sitting

duck.
