hpsetup icon scare

After being on the HP site for finding answers to my printer problems I noticed that on my bottom bar where the internet connections are, there is a hpsetup icon.  When I go there it has a connect tab, this is concerning me. I cant seem to find anywhere

to delete it. I have restored my computer and rebooted it but it still is there. Is my computer at risk and what can I do about this. Thanks for answering my others questions also, Lorelie
