I was offered from a web site an original copy of Windows XP Sp3 (they supposedly had 20 to 30 of them).  I asked if it had a Certificate Of Authenticity (holographic thingee with s/n and key), and the response was the same.. "It's an original oem copy

that will work on any brand of machine".  Now, for $35 dollars, I may take the risk (I'd see the Statue Of Liberty raise her left hand for $35).  My question.. if this is a cheap knock-off, illegal copy and I load it then go to Microsoft's Update site, will

I be able to download Microsoft Security Essentials, Internet Explorer 8, and have access to all the Updates that those products require?
