So, I have had this note coming up for a couple of weeks.  Not sure why I am getting it and I cannot just re-enter my legitimate code that is printed on a factory sticker on the sid eof my box.   Each time I go to fix it, I redownload the exe, stater the

install and it ends up with the same error:

 

   Update installation failed.  Error information - 0xC8000247

 

  Some research gives me absolutely nothing to go on other than some noise about not having a anti-virus installed or having an infection.  Run Norton religiously and do full scans regularly.  Anything anyone can chip in so I can get this repaired, I would

appreciate it.
