Fully updated, xp pro, ie8

 

when clicking start, all programs, windows update, goes to microsoft updates with compatibility view

 

when connecting online to microsoft updates gets microsoft updates without compatibility view

 

can I change the path for my start, all programs, windows updates to be microsoft updates without compatibiliy view?

 

edit: have reinstalled os with a sp3 slipstreamed cd.

 

edit2: no websites listed in my compatibility view settings.
