I installed Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 on my laptop which runs Windows 7 64bit. Everything was fine until I started updating my laptop with the latest updates. After installing all the updates, IE 10 will not go to any website and continues to

say "Page can't be displayed" for anything. I uninstalled IE 10 and reinstalled and same issue. I then did a System Restore back before updating my laptop and then went through one by one installing updates to see if I could find an issue with one of the updates.

After much time, I found that "Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2729452)" is the issue. I installed all other updates besides that one and IE 10 still works fine. I did

test (KB2729452) and it gave me the issue again. Is this update very necessary to have? Others have this same issue?
