I have bought the promotion of Win8 for existing Win7 customers.

Now after I have downloaded and installed I wanted to enter the product key. Unfortunately it tells me that the key is invalid since I have done a fresh install.

I wonder how a commercial topic can dictate how I technically install my software. I had to do a fresh install in order to get rid of all waste I had on win7. is it please possible to check the win7 key and allow me in return to use the win8 key. I was

even surprised because the purchase confirmation which I have through the email hereafter does not talk about an upgrade restricted key.

 can you please help me in finding a solution.
