Guest Alang Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Windows 2003 server SP2. Just found Help and support is not there. Got the message "Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system service is not running. To fix this problem, start the service named 'Help and Support'" I found the microsoft KB article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937055 and followed the instructions but on the second command I got this "C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries>HSCUpd.exe -i HSCmui.cab Error (hr = 8007041d): The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." Also the third command line refers to hscsp_e3.cab where the file I have is hscsp_s3.cab. I am not an expert. The system was pre-installed for 40 users and I have found my way mostly by using the built in H&S and online resources. Anyone any advice on this? -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com
