My computer is operating with 32 bit windows vista.  I have not been able to check for windows updates since June 2006.  In my system tray I get the message that windows can't check for updates. I have placed all update urls on the exceptions list in firewall.

 When trying to manually check for updates I get this error code: Code 80072EF  This is really becoming very frustrating Please help!!!
