About Windows Update Error Code 8024A000

I have a Windows 8 Pro x64. Before I am able to install updates. Now I received the said error. Now I followed this thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-windows_update/windows-update-error-code-8024a000/562845f3-78d5-42a0-bed5-e3fd39f01df7.

After, I checked for updates and noticed that it seemed to return to normal. But as I looked at the "View Update History", there were no updates installed and the Updated were installed: Never. I also checked the Programs and Features and saw the updates installed.

Is it normal that the updates are not in the "View Update History" but are in the Programs and Features?

 

Thanks I do not really want to go through a refresh again.
